Black Powder Solvent

Bore Tech’s Black Powder Solvent is a product designed to provide black powder shooters with advantages not previously available in a single product. Bore Tech has specially formulated naturally derived solvents, surfactants, lubricants, and rust inhibitors into a single pleasant smelling liquid that was compounded with the environment in mind.

The surfactants and solvents used in this product are more effective than traditional soaps and are extremely biodegradable, forming harmless compounds after use. These surfactants were chosen specifically for black powder residues which differ in particle size and composition from smokeless powder residues.

This product may be used as received or mixed with hot water to form a quick acting cleaning solution that penetrates and solubilizes  black powder residues, lubes, and salts for fast and thorough removal. Unlike other products, Bore Tech Black Powder Solvent leaves behind a layer of natural, stable lubricant and rust inhibiting compound to both season the bore and prevent corrosion.
